The wife too got a few from her line.

We tried trolling for barracudas (trailing a line and hook on the side of a moving boat) but after 20 minutes nothing. So the Captain decided that we should go bottom fishing near corals. Here we started to catch fish one after another. It was awesome. Below is the first fish my son ever caught. A big one at that.

At the water sports centre, we registered and waited for the boat to take us fishing.

Everyone is excited to go fishing for the first time.

After a good breakfast on the second day, we took out a boat to go fishing.

As usual the hotel had a car waiting for us at the airport. Within 30 minutes we were in the hotel and I was already bumming on the beach chair at their lagoon pool. This is the life.

Arrived on time and it was dry. Took a photo of my son with the plane in the background. His sunglasses was already on.

By this time it is already 9:12 am in the morning and the plane was gliding on final approach to Langkawi Airport.

Throughout the 55 minute flight, there was continuous cloud cover. The possibility of a bright holiday appears to be low.

The first flight out was just half full. What luck!

After checking-in, we decided to have our breakfast at Merry Brown. After a good meal, we moved to the departure hall. From there I took a picture of the plane that will take us to our final destination. It was a wet day and hopefully, Langkawi will be a sunnier place.

School holidays are here again and we decided to go to our favorite resort in Langkawi, Tanjung Rhu Resort. We took one of the earliest flight out to Langkawi. It so happened that one of our neighbors were nice enough to drive us to the train station. The train in just about to enter the station and everyone is all fired up to kick-start the family holiday programme.

Finale, is the Pinata. Took the kids over 3 rounds to smash the box to pieces!

Over the weekend, went to my nephew's 9th birthday party at the Boulevard Hotel, pool side on level 9. The theme of the party is Mindcraft. Happy birthday Karl!

The eve of Diwali, "Little India" in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur was awashed with colours and sounds. There were stage shows and performances that went on until late. There were also a lot of staff opened to cater to the crowds that gathered.

We flew by MAS and the 737 - 800 was already on the tarmac waiting for us.

It was a very interesting Teambuilding session and I believe everyone enjoyed it immensely. After 3 days and 2 nights in Phuket, it was time to go back home. Here is the airport terminal in Phuket.

At night, Bangla Road starts to be lively. This is a pure tourist spot. Practically everywhere you look you see foreigners.
