Got together will old university friends to break fast. Had it at a friend's house in Putra Heights. Lovely home with good food and excellent company!

They even have a fire going with lemang arranged in rows!

A couple of nights ago I saw some activity at the common rooftop of the new Bank Rakyat corporate headquarters. Saw people dressed in Raya cloths acting out scenes of Raya. I believe Bank Rakyat was making a video or photo shoot for Raya.

My brother-in-law is currently working in Saudi Arabia. Yesterday he sent a photo of his car dashboard just before he headed out for work. Note the ambient temperature captured by his car's thermometer -> 46 degree Celsius! I am thankful Malaysia is not that hot.

Final shot before we drive out of the showroom floor and the value of the car drops by 30%. The salesman wanted this picture for this trophy..... :-P

The customary inspection of the car as well as the confirmation of the chassis and engine numbers. The explanation of the various gadgetry in the car took some time though.

Big day. Time to collect my new car. At noon arrived at the Nissan's New Car Collection Centre in PJ. In a special showroom fully air-conditioned and mirror walls on three sides (the fourth side is a sliding door leading towards the road), all the cars waiting for delivery to their new owners wait patiently. The day I took my car, there were two other cars to be delivered on the same day and all in white.

It's great to get together as a bigger family

Every year just before Ramadan, the family will get together to arrange for a Tahlil, Yassin and Doa Selamat event to be held for family members that have left us. We should always be thankful with we have.

Change of pump coolant and replacement of radiator hose which took just under an hour, the car is good as new.

After 15 years of selfless servitude, the radiator hose on my car burst due to old age. Time to get some TLC. Called AAM for a tow service back to the garage.

One of my favorite laksa - Sarawak laksa - was on the menu last night. Got bits of chicken as well as thinly sliced eggs and boiled prawns (also some cucumber on the insistence of my wife). Heaven!

If you have been following my blog, I have been a solar power producer for TNB since late November 2012. Making good money, I might add. Recently, TNB, via Universiti Tenaga Nasional organised a focus group to gauge customer satisfaction. Did give some good feedback to them. At the end of the morning, lunch was provided plus RM200!

Love the way they arranged the umbrellas to cover the whole walk-a-way.
