At the top of A'Loft Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Sentral is the pool and bar. Here, the view is breath-taking. The pool is similar to the Sand's Resort in Singapore.

In the evening met a friend and colleague. Opportunity for another cake!

It was nice to spend my 44th birthday party with just the family. Small cake.

Coconut tree 2

After 7 years of since planting the coconut tree from a mere seedling in my garden in Putrajaya, the first fruit is now blossoming. Can't wait for it to mature.

On Chinese New Year weekend Putrajaya was full of visitors. I took the family for a walk along the lake after the bridge near the PM office. Here, there weren't anyone at all. Below is a fountain at the Putrajaya Holdings' building.

I have owned a number of fountain pen before but mostly cheap ones. This particular Cross was given to me on my wedding day by my wife and is at least 18 years old. It still works.

Here is my safe deposit box. Two feet long and 10 inches wide with a depth of 5 inches. More then sufficient to keep most of your valuables safe.

A lot of people ask the question, "Where best to keep things safe?". Some would argue a safe bolted to a wall or floor at home is sufficient. I personally like to leverage on the facilities provided by banks. The rent is so much cheaper than buying a safe outright and the security is first class. Moreover, there is some form of basic insurance thrown into the rental as well.

Was at an economic briefing at the The Loft Hotel, KL Sentral a week ago. Very purple-like ballroom.

A couple of brave souls on ropes dangling on the side of the building to clean the glass paneling.

Bank Rakyat was able to get an entry from Jalan Travers itself.

Most of the glass paneling have been attached.

The inner garden is currently undergoing planting.

The building of Bank Rakyat's new HQ is coming along nicely. A barrier has been fixed to separate the view of old buildings from within Bank Rakyat (see the metal wall being built around the old block of shops).

Lifting the upper tray reveals the bottom tray.

It comes with lock and key.

Lovely piece. The artificial leather looks great and the pens looks nice in it.
