It was a full house but not that cramped.

It has been tradition that we prayed at the Damansara Heights Mosque on Hari Raya day. However, currently, the Damansara Heights Mosque is under renovation. So, this year we decided to pray at the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque in Putrajaya. Parking is ample and close to the mosque.

My chapter is number 10 on page 168 of the book. It talks about the need for valuation to be an integral part of Islamic Finance, especially when it comes to sukuk securities. Currently, the notion of valuation has not been given due recognition by the industry. Hopefully, with my chapter in this book, it could help ignite the interest in valuation for Islamic Finance practitioners everywhere.

My name listed as the second contributor. I know of other authors that contributed more chapters but due to my dad's name, it got listed as number two.

This is the third book on Islamic Finance that I was able to participate as a contributing author.

Had a simple dinner of curry mee a few days ago. Put loads of "tohu pok", fish balls and chicken in the curry. Blanch some bean sprouts and yellow mee, and you'll get comfort food!

My room as I knew it, is no more. The table and the carpets have been ripped off.

In the 1970s this was called the tuck shop. Later it was called the canteen. My mom only started to give me money when I was in Primary 3. Before that I brought snacks from home.

The school field. When I was young, this school field looks enormous. In reality.... I am happy though that the school built a covered gallery for spectators.

My friend also took photos of my primary school which is situated on the other side of the road. This too brought back a lot of memories. I spent 6 years of my life in this school, from 1977 right up to 1982. Below is the side walkaway heading down towards, Jalan Ampang.

After briefing us about the resort and what it has to offer, we were directed to a restaurant beside the pool for our lunch. A nuvo-cuisine style restaurant. Food's not that great and the time to wait is ridiculously long.

With a fan whirling, I felt so comfortable that I nearly fell a sleep before the start of the briefing.

For me, I found a bed and made it my resting place.

Like all Generation-Ys and beyond, instead of taking in all the new sights, sounds and swells they prefer the web......

We were then asked to wait at the library area for a short briefing. The lanterns on the ceiling is really mesmerizing. The library also doubles as a business center and there's free WiFi.

Took us only 15 minutes on the boat before we arrived on the YTL island. The weather was perfect.
