Had to make a working visit to Tokyo, Japan last week. The flight was via ANA at a very early time of 7:00 am on Sunday morning. Had to wake up early and travel by car and arrive at KLIA around 4:00 am. The airport has some activity but barely.

Sold off my old 2009 Mercedes C200 Kompressor and got myself the 2016 C200 or commonly known as the baby S-class. Bigger engine capacity but also full of electronic gadgetry - the self parking system is the most impressive.

Yesterday, approximately 5 pm in the evening, a lady jumped from the 36th floor of Block A, Suasana Loft Condominium, KL Sentral. She fell to her death on the driveway into the carpark on level 3A (4th floor).

Over the weekend got my son comfortable to ride his bike. So our first bike adventure was along the Putrajaya lake near Alamanda and Presint 16.

Over the weekend was a huge MPH book carnival at the PICC centre in Putrajaya. Went there to grab some bargains.

Also comes with some attachments for pumping balls etc.

Maximum pressure is 160 PSI.

Actually this this also the first pump with a gauge that I have ever owned before.

I have never bought a quality air pump before. Usually I get a cheap unit. Unfortunately they don't last long. In the long run, it would be better to get something of quality. I finally got the Topeak JoeBlow Max HP TwinHEAD pump. If it last for two years I'm happy.

I just believe that you get get a disk brake bike for just about RM1,000 now.

This short school holiday, I taught my son how to ride a bike. It took him a coupe of hours but he got to muster bike riding using my Tern folding bike (read it here: http://meoramri.blogspot.my/2015/03/for-my-birthday-i-got-myself-tern.html). I got to get a bike for him so I went to Rodalink in Presint 15 Putrajaya and got him this mountain bike from Polygon for around RM1,000 (after discount). For this price I got an aluminium framed bike with Shimano 24 gears (3 x 8), disk brakes and front shock absorbers. The wheels are 24 inches.

Went to a wedding reception at Petronas Training Centre, Bangi, Selangor. Not a large place but sufficient for a function of about 500 people.

My cousin Nina opened a small food stall at a food court near the Majid Jamek Putra Station.

The dish was crap. The rice was just plain rice and the chicken was just boiled. Yuck!

Note the many villas on the hills. Was told that these villas are being built to be sold to the Chinese as holiday homes.

We tend to associate fire starting with matches or a lighter. We know of traditional methods of rubbing things together to generate heat and hence flame (never tried it because it takes a lot of effort). However, there is another method which is seldom talked about. Making fire by generating sufficient sparks from fire starters. Fire starters are usually made out of flint, metal and magnesium.
